Volunteer at Bean Cow

(and get a free climbing pass!)

While Bean Cow is a business, our intention is to offer the Pattaya community a low-cost space to climb and gather. We would also like to provide free or subsidized climbing classes to local under-privileged kids, as climbing is a sport that they would likely never have a chance to try otherwise, and is great for fitness, communication, confidence, and fun! Our goal is to incorporate some general sustainability and healthy living education while having fun outside of the traditional classroom.

In order to meet our goals, we will need cooperation from our community. Climbing walls and holds are expensive, as are salaries for quality teachers. We will gladly accept cash donations to help build up our hold inventory and pay our teachers, and/or we will accept the gift of your time. We also intend to host events, such as trash clean ups, as well as fund-raisers. But to do this we need your help!

If you are interested in any of the following volunteer roles, please contact us. We are happy to offer a monthly climbing pass in exchange for 6 hours of volunteer work per month.

  • Climbing class assistant

  • English speaking person to practice speaking with kids or homework help

  • Events organizer assistant

  • Climbing holds cleaning and organizing

  • Donations organizing and distribution

  • Community outreach volunteer

  • Community garden volunteer

  • Trash clean ups
